Our Mission
At Opp Seminars, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical education that is practical, engaging, and field-applicable. We provide continuing education courses for electricians licensed in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Colorado, along with specialized electrical safety training based on NFPA 70E standards. Our goal is to equip professionals with the knowledge and confidence to work safely, stay compliant, and excel in their trade.
Christian Opp
Hello, my name is Christian Opp, founder of Opp Seminars. Since entering the electrical industry in 2012, I have gained experience as an electrician, electrical contractor, apprenticeship instructor, postsecondary educator, and provider of continuing education and safety training.
I’ve always believed that the best training focuses on the “why,” not just the “what.” When we understand why something matters, we are far more likely to apply and retain the information.
I am a licensed Master Electrician in North Dakota and Minnesota, with extensive involvement in electrical education and workforce development.
I have contributed to multiple industry boards and committees, including those affiliated with the North Dakota State Electrical Board and the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley.
I am also a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), with a focus on NFPA 70E electrical safety training and real-world compliance.
Our Programs
We offer continuing education courses for electricians in the states of ND, SD, MN and CO. We also offer NFPA 70e electrical safety training. Our content is available in-person as well as online. Primarily, we focus on offering private and customized training, however, please check our "Courses/Training," tab for specific offerings.
